Details of the race are as follows: Date: Sunday 26th February 2012 Slay the Dragon Start time-10.30am The Dragon's Tail Start time 10.30am The Village Fun Run Start time 10.40am The Races start and finish at St George's Village Hall, Hinton St George. Hinton St George is two miles from the A303, between Ilminster and Crewkerne. Changing facilities, toilets and refreshments will be available at the Hall. The course follows various linked tracks, country lanes and fields in and around the villages of Hinton, Dinnington and Allowenshay. It is a good undulating six mile course of multi-terrain with country lanes, rough tracks, stiles, gates, fields, hills and breath taking country views!. The Dragon's Tail will follow the main race for the first mile and a half and then split off back towards Hinton Village Hall following the end section of the main race for just under another mile . There will be a Village Fun Run, no more than 1½ miles and open to all ages. If you would like to enter on the day, Race entry forms are available to download from this site.
